There are different types of mines, this particular one is loaded into a 5" mortar tube.

Mines are great fireworks and are really just shells without a lift charge when launched from a mortar tube, you need a lot of them in a show for full effect, they can be fired in different ways, I use fan racks and fill them full of mines I put about 3 to 6 of these racks on the firing site spread out over about 30ft (site conditions allowing) so they are fired all at once.

If I hand fire these mines its possible to do it with even 2 people if your careful with the fuse delay.

It can be done eletrically with a sequencer and they are fired off in split seconds one after the other (the Mexican wave effect) they look absolutely spectacular and can take your breath away.

I like to use all the same colours if I can, red white and blue is always good to, the audience usually like this combination.

They are available as category 3 (display fireworks available to the public) preloaded into the mortar tube and can also be preceded with a gerb usually purchased in box's or packs of 3
